Actually if I think about it, that title is misleading because, relative to meats, veggies probably have more carbon! Well compared to nitrogen anyway. A little ecogeekiness there for you all. Anyway, back in Action 6 I committed to eating lower on the food chain, so today was another notch in that belt, courtesy of the fabulous and phenomenal Mark Bittman, whose Curried Sweet Potato Soup graced our table, along with my darling Ping’s scallion pancakes, and a local brew– score for the low carbon footprint in both food type and sourcing!
